COLUMBUS, OH - Happy, not satisfied. That’s the motto heard from Westerville North head Shan Trusley and has been repeated throughout the Warriors locker room so far this postseason.

And what’s not to be happy about? After the Warriors won their first two Division II district games by a combined average margin of 60 points, it was another convincing win at Taft Coliseum at the Ohio Expo Center on Wednesday as Westerville North comfortably defeated district rival Westerville Central by a “modest” 28 points.

“Happy, not satisfied. Our kids have goals and things they want to accomplish and they’ve been working on those things for a long period of time. We have faced adversity this year and years previous and that has molded the kids, brought them together,” Trusley said after the game. “But we’re fully transparent, they know what our past record is, they want to win and won’t be happy until we win the last game.”

Westerville North senior Micah Young goes for a lay-in as he was the game MVP with 22 points.
