Walnut Ridge kicked off City League play with a sound defeat over the three-time South division champion Africentric on Tuesday. The Scots built a lead as high as 18 points in the third quarter before they comfortably settled towards a 14-point victory. It was a quality team win that showed off Ridge’s impressive depth, as almost every player in the starting rotation should be on recruiting radars, if they aren’t already.
