The stock-rising forward talks recruitment, confidence in Coffman and makes his NBA Finals prediction

COLUMBUS, OH - A strong finish can do wonders for a team as they prepare for the next season. For the returnees at Dublin Coffman, even though their district title was over seven months ago, they hope that momentum carries into a repeat banner along with some additional hardware.

Although the Rocks graduated a couple of key starters, much of their optimism is keyed on the return of junior Thomas Cochran, a lengthy 6’8 forward that has emerged as a Division I prospect.

Cochran was just one of three sophomores named to an All OCC-Central team last year, as he was an honorable mention selection. He played arguably his best game of the season in the regional semifinals against eventual state runner-up Reynoldsburg, as he scored 15 points that included four threes.

As he heads into his junior season, Cochran chatted with 270 Hoops staff writer Greg Glasser about the confidence he’s gained, his recruitment process and shares some of his favorite things in Dublin.
