Prospect Profile: Olentangy Liberty's Tyler Kropp
The 2025 forward has plenty of offers, but isn't in a rush to make a decision. He talks recruitment, how playing with Team Argentina improved his game and more
COLUMBUS, OH - There’s a reason why Tyler Kropp has more offers than any prospect from Central Ohio. At six-foot-eight, the 2025 prospect not only converts at a high-rate in the post, but he’s known to stretch the floor and has a long-distance range that’s become more of a requirement for big men at the next level.
After a junior campaign that saw him average a double-double (22.3 points per game, 11 rebounds) and earned him second team All-District and special mention All-Ohio, Kropp was one of the area’s top scorers and currently holds nine Division I scholarship opportunities.
As he now embarks on his final AAU season with All-Ohio Red on the EYBL circuit and prepares for his senior season with the Patriots, Kropp chatted with 270 Hoops about his recruitment, his experience playing with U16 Argentina last summer and agrees on a former NBA player comparison.
