Prospect Profile: Ben Mirgon
The Hilliard Bradley junior guard discusses recruitment, his confidence in the Jags improving and how he got the nickname "Bubba"
COLUMBUS, OH - A top ranked player in Ohio for the 2027 class, junior Ben “Bubba” Mirgon is continuing the high level guard play we’ve seen at Hilliard Bradley over the past decade.
A starter since his freshman season, the 6’1 Mirgon was one of the area’s top floor generals his sophomore year where he averaged 15.2 points and 5.8 assists and was named honorable mention All-District along with first team All-OCC, the only sophomore to be selected in the Central division.
College coaches have taken notice. Mirgon has received four offers, all from in-state MAC programs.
270 Hoops staff writer Greg Glasser caught up with Mirgon as he shared more insight into his recruitment, his excitement for the upcoming high school season and how he thinks more people call him by his nickname “Bubba” than Ben.
