Panthers dance to their 21st straight win, down Hawks

ZANESVILLE, OH - Small town basketball is a special thing.
Two hours before the Varsity game, Maysville high school, which is located in south Zanesville, was nearly at capacity for a highly anticipated matchup between the Panthers (20-1) and visiting Bishop Hartley (14-3).
In 2024, The fairytale three-year stretch for the Maysville Panthers began at Ohio University in the regional semi-finals vs. the same Bishop Hartley squad. Senior Alex Bobb stunned the Hawks with a fade away prayer as time expired to send his team to the regional finals.
In 2026, both teams are state championship contenders once again.
