Pioneers hands Hawks first loss behind Peyton Heiss' 38 points
COLUMBUS, Ohio - - On a frigid evening on the east side of Columbus, the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (6-3) erased a six-point deficit in the final minute to send the game into overtime and handed the Bishop Hartley Hawks (7-1) their first loss of the season, 69-67. With .3 left on the clock, Hartley guard Jackson Moxley committed a foul on on Alder’s Noah Heiss on a desperation three-point shot. Heiss proceeded to knock in all three free throws to send the game into overtime. In the overtime period, Alder hung on for the two point victory.
