We are beginning to get into the thick of the basketball season the closer we get to Christmas. Here are the top games to watch in the area on this wonderful Friday.

#2 (D2) Westerville North (1-2) at #3 Delaware Hayes (1-0)

Revenge is the theme of tonight’s big time matchup at Delaware Hayes. The Pacers were responsible for two of Westerville North’s five losses last season, both of those games being decided by seven total points. The Warriors hit the road north to take on a Hayes team that they’ll need to overcome in order to win the OCC. Delaware is not the same exact team as last year, losing two of their best players in recent memory to graduation, while Westerville North returned its entire backcourt and features more depth than a season ago. It will be interesting to see if Hayes can continue to hold off the Warriors, or if it’s a new era in a season of promise for Westerville North.
