Despite two weeks remaining of the regular season, the postseason is set in Central Ohio. With the Central District tournament draw taking place on Sunday, here’s the breakdown for each district in Central Ohio. We take a look at each bracket and the top potential matchups across the board.

  • #34 Groveport Madison at #7 Licking Heights

  • #30 Lancaster at #28 Upper Arlington

  • #35 Worthington Kilbourne at #25 Dublin Coffman

Potential district semifinals (by highest possible seeds)

  • #7 Licking Heights vs. #5 Hilliard Bradley

  • #14 Pickerington North vs. #13 Westerville Central

Synopsis: Thanks to New Albany and Newark both passing their spots on the bracket, Hilliard Bradley got the opportunity to be the first team in their bracket despite being a seed outside of the top four. The Jags have a handful of challenging teams in this bracket including No. 13 Westerville Central who beat them at home early in the season. Olentangy Liberty, if they upset Licking Heights, could see Bradley for a third time this year. A third matchup could also be in play between Westerville Central and Pickerington North. This might be the most grueling path to the regional tournament. The 11 AM start time for the district finals is why the other top three seeds avoided this bracket.
