COLUMBUS, Ohio - - On Saturday, two teams broke district championship droughts as Jonathan Alder and Bishop Hartley both broke through and cut down the nets at Central Crossing High School. Alder won their first district since the 70’s under head coach Derek Dicke while Bishop Hartley won their first since 2019 under head coach Andreas James, both men were hired in 2022 and have done an outstanding job leading their squads in their second season. Both teams defeated formidable opponents with Alder beating a Bishop Watterson squad that would not quit and Hartley beating a talented and experienced River Valley team. 

Guard talent reigned supreme over the weekend, but there was a big man that stood out as well, check out all the players who made an impact on their teams chances below.
