COLUMBUS, OH- Losing is a foreign concept at Bishop Watterson High School.

During the 2025-2026 school year, the Eagles from the Central Catholic League have won three state championships (football, girls cross country, and boys soccer) and are known as one of the most dominant high school athletic programs in the state of Ohio.

In boys basketball, they have been no stranger to winning either. It seems like almost every season, Watty is competing for a District Title under the tutelage of one of the longest tenured coaches in the state: Vince Lombardo.

Lombardo has instilled a culture of elite fundamentals, toughness, and poise within his program for over 30 years, and has over 500 wins to show for it.

Carter Bellisari continues to dazzle hoop heads around Ohio with his elite athleticism and timely playmaking
