GROVE CITY, OH — The 8th annual 270 Hoops Battle For The City took place last Wednesday at Central Crossing. Top players from the Ohio Capital Conference went against the Central Ohio All-Stars, a collection of standouts from the various other area leagues. For most of the 40 minutes, the juniors had a tight game until the OCC pulled away with a 121-102 victory.

In years past, the junior class could be argued to have the most entertaining session from the event. It’s a mix of upperclassmen talent combined with players’ desire to show they’ll be the guy next season.

Below, we break down six players that you can expect to have a strong senior season next winter.

270 Hoops co-owner Zach Fleer stands next to the 2025 game MVP, Julian Johnson from Thomas Worthington.
