Nubians capture ninth straight City League title

Columbus, Ohio -- After a challenging first half due to foul trouble, the Nubians kicked things into a higher gear in the second to take home their ninth straight City League title on Saturday afternoon. Africentric outscored Centennial 22-14 in the third quarter to push their lead to 17 with one quarter to play and that’s when the Nubians really came alive. In the fourth quarter, Africentric held the Stars to just six points while scoring 22. The title game was full of star power on both sides.
