COLUMBUS, OH- One of the greatest things about the sport of basketball is that it never stops. From the beginning of March till the end of July, elite rising seniors from central Ohio form high level AAU teams that compete in various states with hopes of getting an opportunity to play in college. That season has finally concluded for 2026, leaving behind a lot of lasting impressions. I had the privilege of attending a total of nine AAU events from Chicago, IL all the way to Baltimore, MD this year, and had the chance to evaluate many incredible basketball players along the way.
The class of 2027 just completed their final club basketball journey, and are about to embark on their last season of high school hoops. While many of the best the capital city has to offer have already committed to play at the next level, many are still weighing their options. Read on to get a snapshot some of the top rated senior prospects (that I was able to watch) who have yet to decide on where they’re continuing their athletic career after the high school season concludes.
